Female patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Trimethoprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood sodium decreased, convulsion. Trimethoprim dosage: 400 MG (200 MG,2 IN 1 D). Patient recovered.
