Trimethoprim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 21, 2006. Male patient, 70 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Trimethoprim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, cardiac arrest , pain of skin, pruritus, toxic epidermal necrolysis. Trimethoprim dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
