Triamterene side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Sept 08, 2006. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Triamterene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory failure, dyspnoea, hyperhidrosis, multi-organ failure, myalgia, sputum abnormal. Triamterene dosage: HCTZ 25MG - TMT 50 MG. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
