Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Triamterene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, condition aggravated, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electrocardiogram t wave peaked, hyperglycaemia, hyperkalaemia, renal failure acute, sputum discoloured. Triamterene dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
