Tretinoin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 21, 2006. Male patient, 74 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pleural effusion, retinoic acid syndrome, weight increased. Tretinoin dosage: 30 MG TID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 31 years of age, weighting 273.2 lb, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lung infiltration, pleural effusion, pyrexia, respiratory distress, weight increased. Tretinoin dosage: 60 MG Q 12 HR PO. Patient recovered.
