Male patient, 31 years of age, weighting 273.2 lb, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: lung infiltration, pleural effusion, pyrexia, respiratory distress, weight increased. Tretinoin dosage: 60 MG Q 12 HR PO. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, lung infiltration, oxygen saturation decreased, pyrexia, retinoic acid syndrome, tachypnoea, vomiting. Tretinoin dosage: 10 MG QAM PO; 20 MG QPM PO. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with LANSOPRAZOLE, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ONDANSETRON, SENNA, DOCUSATE, OXYCODONE, LORAZEPAM, PROCHLORPERAZINE. Patient recovered.
