Tretinoin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from NETHERLANDS on Apr 28, 2008. Female patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haematoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, stem cell transplant. Tretinoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MITOXANTRONE, IDARUBICIN. Patient died.

Tretinoin side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Aug 08, 2007. Male patient, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: metastases to liver, myelodysplastic syndrome. Tretinoin dosage: 80 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MERCAPTOPURINE, METHOTREXATE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
