Tretinoin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from TURKEY on July 28, 2008. Female patient, 14 years of age, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: febrile neutropenia, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, platelet count decreased, renal failure acute, sepsis What is  sepsis. Tretinoin dosage: 45 MG/M**2; DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, MEROPENEM. Patient recovered.

Tretinoin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Aug 25, 2006. Female patient, 34 years of age, was diagnosed with acute promyelocytic leukaemia and was treated with Tretinoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute promyelocytic leukaemia, cerebral haemorrhage, cerebral infarction, embolism, haemodialysis, hepatic infarction, pulmonary infarction, renal failure, renal necrosis. Tretinoin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with APROTININ, THIOGUANINE, CYTOSINE ARABINOSIDE, DAUNORUBICIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
