Female patient, 74 years of age, weighting 148.0 lb, was diagnosed with mitral valve replacement and was treated with Trasylol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time abnormal, anaphylactic reaction, atrial fibrillation , bradycardia, cardiac arrest , cardiac output decreased, ejection fraction decreased, haematoma, haemoglobin decreased. Trasylol dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
