Tranexamic side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 02, 2008. Female patient, 78 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was treated with Tranexamic. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, electroencephalogram abnormal, hypoxic encephalopathy, metabolic disorder
, nervous system disorder, unresponsive to stimuli. Tranexamic dosage: 30MG/KG IV X 1 IV BOLUS. During the same period patient was treated with TRANEXAMIC ACID CYKLOKAPRON PFIZER, INHALED ANESTHESIA, SEVOFLURANE, VECURONIUM BROMIDE, FENTANYL, MIDAZOLAM, CEFAZOLIN, EPHEDRINE. Patient recovered.
