Torsemide and leukocytoclastic vasculitis Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Torsemide Side Effects Report #5422893-1
Torsemide side effect was reported by a Physician from SWITZERLAND on Aug 09, 2007. Female patient, 84 years of age, weighting 132.3 lb, was diagnosed with cardiac failure congestive, depression  and was treated with Torsemide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, fluid overload, glomerulonephritis, hyperthyroidism, leukocytoclastic vasculitis, normochromic normocytic anaemia, renal failure acute, type iii immune complex mediated reaction, vascular purpura. Torsemide dosage: 5 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOXETINE, LASIX, NEXIUM, CLEXANE, TOREM, CARBIMAZOLE, LOPRESSOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
