Topiramate Side Effects Report #5073349-X
Topiramate side effect was reported by a Physician from ARGENTINA on July 27, 2006. Male patient, child 9 years of age, weighting 51.81 lb, was diagnosed with epilepsy  and was treated with Topiramate. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , anorexia, constipation , erosive oesophagitis, gastritis erosive, haematemesis, vomiting, weight decreased. Topiramate dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CLOBAZAM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , confusional state, diplopia, dissociative disorder, feeling abnormal, incorrect dose administered, suicidal behaviour, suicidal ideation, visual disturbance. Topiramate dosage: 50MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with GABAPENTIN, ATENOLOL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, IBUPROFEN, LORAZEPAM, PROCHLORPERAZINE, RIBOFLAVIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
