Tofranil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on July 20, 2005. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with depression , hypothyroidism and was treated with Tofranil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dizziness , fall , head injury, skin laceration, syncope. Tofranil dosage: 50 MG, BID, PO. During the same period patient was treated with LEVOXYL, CHLORPROMAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , abdominal pain upper, agitation, biliary colic, dizziness , dysgeusia, insomnia, retching, tachycardia. Tofranil dosage: 25 MG, TID. During the same period patient was treated with OLCADIL, CLONAZEPAM, DIAZEPAM. Patient recovered.
