Tobramycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 09, 2006. Male patient, 22 years of age, weighting 94.80 lb, was diagnosed with pseudomonas infection and was treated with Tobramycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain What is  back pain, blood creatinine increased, dialysis What is  dialysis, dizziness What is  dizziness, nausea What is  nausea, urine output decreased. Tobramycin dosage: 430 MG IV QD. During the same period patient was treated with AZITHROMYCIN, CEFEPIME, FEXOFENADINE, ESOMEPRAZOLE, METOCLOPRAMIDE, LACTULOSE, ALBUTEROL SULPHATE, PULMOZYME. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 212.7 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis What is  cellulitis and was treated with Tobramycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, dialysis What is  dialysis, renal failure acute, somnolence. Tobramycin dosage: 600 MG Q 36 HOURS IV. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, PHOSLO, FINASTERIDE, FUROSEMIDE, HYDRALAZINE, HUMULIN, METOPROLOL SUCC, MORPHINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
