Tirofiban Side Effects Report #5902584-0
Tirofiban side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Sept 17, 2008. Female patient, 87 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction and was treated with Tirofiban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiogenic shock, haemoglobin decreased, injection site haematoma. Tirofiban dosage: (33 ML TOTAL INTRAVENOUS BOLUS), (INTRAVENOUS DRIP). During the same period patient was treated with TIROFIBAN HYDROCHLORIDE, NICARDIPINE HYDROCHLORIDE, URAPIDIL, VALSARTAN, ATENOLOL. Patient recovered.

Tirofiban side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Feb 12, 2009. Female patient, 69 years of age, was treated with Tirofiban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction, back pain , carotid artery stenosis, flank pain, haemodialysis, haemodynamic instability, haemoglobin decreased, heart rate increased. Tirofiban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN LMW, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, NITROGLYCERIN, METOPROLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute myocardial infarction, chest pain , dyspnoea, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemoglobin decreased. Tirofiban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE, PROPOXYPHENE HYDROCHLORIDE, VIOXX, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
