Tirofiban side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from GERMANY on Jan 15, 2009. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with coronary arterial stent insertion and was treated with Tirofiban. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic shock, back pain What is  back pain, bronchial carcinoma, cardiomyopathy What is  cardiomyopathy, chills, coronary artery disease What is  coronary artery disease, coronary artery occlusion, disseminated intravascular coagulation. Tirofiban dosage: 0.35 MG QD, INTRAVENOUS (NOT OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, 8.4 MG TOTAL INTRAVENOUS (NOT OTHERWISE SPECIFIED). During the same period patient was treated with TIROFIBAN HYDROCHLORIDE, CLOPIDOGREL BISULPHATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute coronary syndrome, acute myocardial infarction, back pain What is  back pain, carotid artery stenosis, flank pain, haemodialysis, haemodynamic instability, haemoglobin decreased, heart rate increased. Tirofiban dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN LMW, ASPIRIN, CLOPIDOGREL, NITROGLYCERIN, METOPROLOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
