Tipranavir Side Effects Report #5840833-8
Tipranavir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from BRAZIL on Aug 06, 2008. Male patient, weighting 141.1 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , infection prophylaxis, anxiety , myelodysplastic syndrome and was treated with Tipranavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cachexia, chest pain , gastritis, malaise, pyrexia. Tipranavir dosage: TPV/RTV 1000/400 MG. During the same period patient was treated with TENOFOVIR, LAMIVUDINE, STAVUDINE, COTRIMOXAZOLE, AZITHROMYCIN, ALPRAZOLAM, FOLINIC ACID, ERTHROPOIETIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
