Male patient, 58 years of age, weighting 136.9 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, hypertension and was treated with Tipranavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, dizziness , hypoglycaemia. Tipranavir dosage: TPV/R 1000/400MG (SEE TEXT, STRENGTH: 250/100MG), PO. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, FUZEON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
