Tigecycline Side Effects Report #5464565-3
Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 11, 2007. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia klebsiella, empyema, candidiasis, infection What is  infection, clostridium difficile colitis and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pathogen resistance. Tigecycline dosage: 100 MG X 1 DOSE, THEN 50 MG Q12H. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, VANCOMYCIN, METRONIDAZOLE, CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
