Tigecycline Side Effects Report #5464565-3
Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 11, 2007. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia klebsiella, empyema, candidiasis, infection , clostridium difficile colitis and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pathogen resistance. Tigecycline dosage: 100 MG X 1 DOSE, THEN 50 MG Q12H. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, VANCOMYCIN, METRONIDAZOLE, CIPROFLOXACIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
