Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 06, 2006. Female patient, 61 years of age, weighting 112.4 lb, was diagnosed with peritonitis bacterial and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, lipase increased, pancreatitis. Tigecycline dosage: 100MG X1 -LOADING DOSE IV 4 DOSES. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, LEVAQUIN, FLAGYL, RIFAMPIN, VANCOMYCIN, DOXERCALCIFEROL. Patient recovered.
