Tigecycline Side Effects Report #5143392-0
Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Oct 27, 2006. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Tigecycline dosage: 100MG LOADING DOSE THEN 50 MG EVERY 12 HOURS INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with UMULINE, HEPARINE, TERCIAN, FENTANYL, DIAMOX #, ALDACTONE, DUPHALAC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
