Tigecycline Side Effects Report #5347409-X
Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 28, 2007. Female patient, weighting 275.1 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis , candidiasis, clostridial infection, glaucoma , hypertension, coagulopathy, oral pain and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, diarrhoea, nausea , renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis. Tigecycline dosage: 100 MG LOADING DOSE, THEN 50 MG EVERY 12 HOURS. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, GENTAMICIN, METRONIDAZOLE, MYCOSTATIN, ACETAZOLAMIDE, AMLODIPINE, ACTIVASE, BENZOCAINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
