Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Apr 01, 2006. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with pneumonia What is  pneumonia and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, lung disorder. Tigecycline dosage: 100MG LOADING DOSE THEN 50 MG EVERY 12 HOURS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, lipase increased, pancreatitis. Tigecycline dosage: 100MG X1 -LOADING DOSE IV 4 DOSES. During the same period patient was treated with GENTAMICIN, LEVAQUIN, FLAGYL, RIFAMPIN, VANCOMYCIN, DOXERCALCIFEROL. Patient recovered.

Tigecycline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GRAVOL, ASCORBIC ACID, LEVOTHYROXINE, ATORVASTATIN, CALCITONIN, BUSCOPAN, HYDROMORPHONE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, condition aggravated, fungal sepsis, multi-organ failure, septic shock, tachycardia. Tigecycline dosage: 50 MG 2X PER 1 DAY INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with TICARCILLIN. Patient died.

Tigecycline dosage: 50 MG TWICE DAILY IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/08/2008.
