Tigecycline side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 05, 2007. Male patient, 75 years of age, weighting 216.1 lb, was diagnosed with abdominal infection and was treated with Tigecycline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased. Tigecycline dosage: 100 MG EVERY 12 HOURS IV BOLUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
