Ticlopidine Side Effects Report #5460851-1
Ticlopidine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from JAPAN on Aug 20, 2007. Male patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with cerebral infarction and was treated with Ticlopidine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, apallic syndrome, blood bilirubin unconjugated increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood pressure systolic increased, cerebral infarction, disorientation, jaundice , oedema. Ticlopidine dosage: 200 MG (200 MG, 1 IN 1 D). Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy, cerebral infarction, dementia , putamen haemorrhage. Ticlopidine dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, DIOVAN, ADALAT, ARTIST, FAMOTIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral infarction, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Ticlopidine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, TOPROL, PROCARDIA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 01/07/1995.
