Thymoglobuline Side Effects Report #5128480-7
Thymoglobuline side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 20, 2006. Female patient, 58 years of age, weighting 120.0 lb, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Thymoglobuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, chills, dyspnoea, malaise, pyrexia. Thymoglobuline dosage: 100 MG QD IV. During the same period patient was treated with CALTRATE D, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, TACROLIMUS, LOSARTAN POSTASSIUM, AMLODIPINE, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 40 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Thymoglobuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, complications of transplanted kidney, cytokine release syndrome, hypersensitivity, hypotension, pyrexia, renal tubular necrosis, supraventricular tachycardia. Thymoglobuline dosage: 1.5 MG/KG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with CELL CEPT, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, FUROSEMIDE, CHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 60 years of age, weighting 125.7 lb, was diagnosed with aplastic anaemia and was treated with Thymoglobuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: back pain
, chills, haemorrhage intracranial, pyrexia, vomiting. Thymoglobuline dosage: 91.3 MG QD IV. During the same period patient was treated with OSCAL, VITAMIN, RANITIDINE, BENADRYL, TYLENOL. Patient died on 08/22/2006.
