Thymoglobuline Side Effects Report #5128483-2
Thymoglobuline side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 20, 2006. Male patient, 40 years of age, weighting 280.0 lb, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Thymoglobuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, complications of transplanted kidney, cytokine release syndrome, hypersensitivity, hypotension, pyrexia, renal tubular necrosis, supraventricular tachycardia. Thymoglobuline dosage: 1.5 MG/KG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with CELL CEPT, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, FUROSEMIDE, CHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 50 years of age, weighting 95.90 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis against transplant rejection and was treated with Thymoglobuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood creatinine increased, blood pressure decreased, gastrointestinal inflammation, ileus, klebsiella bacteraemia, staphylococcal bacteraemia. Thymoglobuline dosage: 21.75 MG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with GRAVOL, BENADRYL, ATIVAN, MAXERAN, ACETAMINOPHEN, METHYLPREDNISOLONE, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
