Thiothixene side effect was reported by a Physician from on Apr 15, 2005. Female patient, 60 years of age, weighting 170.0 lb, was diagnosed with bipolar disorder  and was treated with Thiothixene. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bipolar disorder , dementia , hepatic failure, renal failure. Thiothixene dosage: 5 MG PO ONE QHS. During the same period patient was treated with LITHIUM CARBONATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
