Thioridazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on May 02, 2006. Female patient, 78 years of age, weighting 160.9 lb, was diagnosed with mental disorder and was treated with Thioridazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase mb increased, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, pyrexia, thrombocytopenia. Thioridazine dosage: 50MG Q8H PO. During the same period patient was treated with MELLARIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
