Thiopental Side Effects Report #5257798-2
Thiopental side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FRANCE on Feb 21, 2007. Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with epilepsy
, grand mal convulsion and was treated with Thiopental. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: fluid overload, hyponatraemia, status epilepticus, subdural haematoma. Thiopental dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with KEPPRA, DEPAKENE, CLONAZEPAM, FOSPHENYTOIN. Patient recovered.
