Thioguanine side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on July 28, 2005. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 158.7 lb, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia, pain
and was treated with Thioguanine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, diarrhoea, folliculitis, glossitis, leukopenia, pain in extremity, platelet count increased, pyrexia, rash papular. Thioguanine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALEXAN, DAUNOBLASTIN, NOVANTRONE, OXYGESIC. Patient was hospitalized. Thioguanine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 14, 2005. Male patient was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Thioguanine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenovirus infection, coagulopathy, culture stool positive, culture throat positive, diarrhoea, epidermal necrosis, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic failure. Thioguanine dosage: 40 MG/M2/PER DAY/ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, DEXAMETHASONE, METHOTREXATE. Patient died.
