Thioguanine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 19, 2006. Male patient, child 6 years of age, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Thioguanine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, focal nodular hyperplasia, hepatotoxicity, obliterative bronchiolitis, weight decreased. Thioguanine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MYLERAN, IDARUBICIN, CYTARABINE, ETOPOSIDE, FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, METHOTREXATE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, HEMATOPOETIC PROGENITOR CELLS. Patient died.

Male patient, child 3. years of age, weighting 42.99 lb, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Thioguanine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, abdominal pain What is  abdominal pain, ascites, burning sensation, contusion, crying, dysuria, fatigue, hepatomegaly. Thioguanine dosage: 40 MG 1 TAB X 14 DAYS PO. During the same period patient was treated with METHOTREXATE, CYTOXAN. Patient recovered.
