Thiamine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 19, 2006. Male patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with alcohol use, schizophrenia and was treated with Thiamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, blood creatine phosphokinase increased, body temperature increased, c-reactive protein increased, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, confusional state, diarrhoea, hyperhidrosis. Thiamine dosage: 300 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with CLONAZEPAM, NIZORAL, CLOZARIL, PROCYCLIDINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
