Thiamazole Side Effects Report #5401987-0
Thiamazole side effect was reported by a Physician from DENMARK on July 16, 2007. Female patient, 36 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and was treated with Thiamazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, anaemia, atelectasis, haemorrhage, hepatocellular damage, hypotension, leukopenia, lymphadenopathy, multi-organ failure. Thiamazole dosage: 10 MG, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VEPICOMBIN. Patient died on 05/10/2007.

Thiamazole side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Feb 10, 2009. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with basedow's disease, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis and was treated with Thiamazole. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, anorexia, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positive vasculitis, ascites, azotaemia, back pain
, benign pancreatic neoplasm, glomerulonephritis membranous, haemodialysis. Thiamazole dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
