Theophylline side effect was reported by a Physician from on Feb 15, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was treated with Theophylline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: extrasystoles, feeling abnormal, hypertension, hypokalaemia, palpitations, sinus tachycardia. Theophylline dosage: 600 MG PO. During the same period patient was treated with EVISTA, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, COMBIVENT, NEXIUM, QVAR, DILTIAZEM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
