Male patient, 79 years of age, was diagnosed with emphysema, benign prostatic hyperplasia, malnutrition and was treated with Theophylline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, decreased appetite, dehydration, malaise, nausea , speech disorder. Theophylline dosage: 200 MG, DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with TAMSULOSIN, RACOL, OXYGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
