Thalomide side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on May 24, 2006. Female patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma What is  multiple myeloma and was treated with Thalomide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthritis bacterial, fistula What is  fistula, joint effusion, metastases to bone marrow, myositis What is  myositis, typhoid fever. Thalomide dosage: 100 MG, DAILY, ORAL; 100 - 200 MG, DAILY, ORAL; 50 MG, DAILY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with THALOMIDE PHARMION, THALOMIDE PHARMION, DEXAMETHASONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
