Male patient, child 12 years of age, weighting 150.0 lb, was diagnosed with asthma  and was treated with Terbutaline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal sepsis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, asthma , blood calcium decreased, blood magnesium increased, bronchial secretion retention, cardiogenic shock, clostridial infection, colon gangrene. Terbutaline dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL, PROVENTIL, LASIX, FENTANYL, DIAMOX, IBUPROFEN, OXACILLIN. Patient died on 04/12/1997.
