Tenofovir side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on May 06, 2005. Male patient, 52 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Tenofovir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood creatinine increased, diarrhoea, hepatitis . Tenofovir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRUVADA, ATAZANAVIR, RITONAVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with EMTRICITABINE, NEVIRAPINE, DAPSONE. Patient died on 03/23/2006.
