Telzir and blood bilirubin increased Patient Reports February 12, 2012

Telzir Side Effects Report #4619158-4
Telzir side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 17, 2005. Female patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Telzir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, depressed level of consciousness, feeling cold, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatic encephalopathy. Telzir dosage: 700MG TWICE PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with NORVIR, SUSTIVA, TRANXENE, BACTRIM DS, METHADONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, diarrhoea, fatigue, hepatic cirrhosis, jaundice , vomiting. Telzir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, VIREAD, NORVIR, TRUVADA. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection , prophylaxis and was treated with Telzir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood bilirubin increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, hepatitis , hyperlactacidaemia, mitochondrial cytopathy, muscle spasms. Telzir dosage: 1400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with EPIVIR, KALETRA, VIREAD, NORVIR, REYATAZ, BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 27 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , hepatitis c  and was treated with Telzir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood bilirubin increased, condition aggravated, epistaxis, haemoglobin decreased. Telzir dosage: 1400MG PER DAY. During the same period patient was treated with NORVIR, REYATAZ, PEGASYS, RIBAVIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
