Telithromycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Feb 03, 2005. Female patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with sinusitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, chills, decreased appetite, liver function test abnormal, nausea , pruritus, pyrexia. Telithromycin dosage: 800MG DAILY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 22 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with pharyngitis, tonsillitis, crohn's disease  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: infectious mononucleosis , liver function test abnormal, pyrexia. Telithromycin dosage: 800 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with MERCAPTOPURINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 190.5 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , dizziness , electrolyte imbalance, hypersensitivity, jaundice , liver function test abnormal, nausea , pyrexia. Telithromycin dosage: 800 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, ZYRTEC, HYDROXYZINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
