Telithromycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Nov 17, 2004. Female patient, 43 years of age, was diagnosed with sinusitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blister, hypersensitivity, rash , urticaria. Telithromycin dosage: 800 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with FLUOXETINE, SULFOGAIACOL, CODEINE PHOSPHATE, PROMETHAZINE, CHLOROFORM, CITRATE, CITRIC ACID, IPECACUANHA FLUID. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 53 years of age, weighting 190.5 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , dizziness , electrolyte imbalance, hypersensitivity, jaundice , liver function test abnormal, nausea , pyrexia. Telithromycin dosage: 800 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, ZYRTEC, HYDROXYZINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
