Telithromycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 29, 2004. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 168.2 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ear discomfort, erythema, hypertension, hypoacusis, hypoaesthesia, swelling face. Telithromycin dosage: TWO 400MG TABLETS MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with BENAZEPRIL HYDROCHLORIDE, HYPOCHLOROTHIAZIDE, PREDNISONE. Patient recovered.

Telithromycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 11, 2005. Male patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with bronchitis , sinusitis  and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: erythema, eye irritation, mydriasis. Telithromycin dosage: 400 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with DEXTROMETHORPHAN HYDROBROMIDE, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE, BROMPHENIRAMINE MALEATE. Patient recovered.
