Telithromycin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Dec 13, 2004. Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Telithromycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioneurotic oedema, dyspnoea, oedema peripheral, swollen tongue. Telithromycin dosage: 800 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with CODEINE PHOSPHATE, GUAIFENESIN, PSEUDOEPHEDRINE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
