Telbivudine side effect was reported by a Physician from TAIWAN, PROVINCE OF CHINA on Feb 20, 2008. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis b  and was treated with Telbivudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: demyelinating polyneuropathy, hypoaesthesia, limb discomfort, muscle atrophy, muscular weakness, musculoskeletal pain, myalgia, myopathy, polymyositis. Telbivudine dosage: 600 MG,. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
