Telbivudine Side Effects Report #5443629-4
Telbivudine side effect was reported by a Physician from CAYMAN ISLANDS on Aug 29, 2007. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with hepatitis b , peptic ulcer , prostatitis, back pain  and was treated with Telbivudine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: ascites, benign prostatic hyperplasia, dysuria, endoscopy , exostosis, gastric varices, gastrointestinal mucosal disorder, haemoglobin decreased, oesophageal variceal ligation. Telbivudine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with FUROSEMIDE, ESOMEPRAZOLE MAGNESIUM, TERAZOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE, ACEMETACIN, FLUDIAZEPAM, ALUMINIUM, LEVOFLOXACIN, DOMPERIDONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
