Tegaserod side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Dec 23, 2005. Female patient, 69 years of age, was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Tegaserod. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis ischaemic, haematochezia. Tegaserod dosage: 6MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with MAXZIDE, ALENDRONATE, NIFEDIPINE, SALMON OIL, NEXIUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Tegaserod side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 27, 2006. Female patient, 49 years of age, weighting 157.4 lb, was diagnosed with dyspepsia and was treated with Tegaserod. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain lower, abdominal pain upper, abdominal tenderness, blood sodium increased, cervix neoplasm, chills, colitis, colitis ischaemic, colonic polyp . Tegaserod dosage: 6 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with MEPERIDINE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 34 years of age, weighting 200.6 lb, was diagnosed with constipation , irritable bowel syndrome  and was treated with Tegaserod. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colitis ischaemic. Tegaserod dosage: 6MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with TEGASEROD MALEATE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
