Targocid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Sept 26, 2005. Female patient, 90 years of age, was diagnosed with sepsis
and was treated with Targocid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cholestasis, eosinophilia, hypersensitivity, rash maculo-papular, renal failure. Targocid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, RIFADIN, NETROMYCIN. Patient died on 07/21/2005.Targocid Side Effects Report #5007580-6
Targocid side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on May 02, 2006. Male patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with device related infection, staphylococcal infection
and was treated with Targocid. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cholestasis, leukopenia, overdose, pancytopenia, renal impairment, subdural haematoma, thrombocytopenia. Targocid dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RIFADIN, VANCOCINE, GENTAMICIN. Patient recovered.
