Syntocinon Side Effects Report #4676520-1
Syntocinon side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Aug 19, 2002. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with induced labour and was treated with Syntocinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amniotic fluid embolus, bradycardia foetal, cyanosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, foetal distress syndrome, hysterectomy , loss of consciousness, overdose, respiratory distress. Syntocinon dosage: 0.5 ML, QN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/20/2000.

During the same period patient was treated with LIGNOCAINE, LABETALOL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
