Syntocinon side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Aug 19, 2002. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with induced labour and was treated with Syntocinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amniotic fluid embolus, bradycardia foetal, cyanosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, foetal distress syndrome, hysterectomy

Female patient, 24 years of age, was diagnosed with essential hypertension and was treated with Syntocinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, hypertension, loss of consciousness. Syntocinon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LIGNOCAINE, LABETALOL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
