Syntocinon side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on Dec 04, 1998. Female patient, 29 years of age, was diagnosed with surgery  and was treated with Syntocinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disseminated intravascular coagulation. Syntocinon dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHERGINE, CEFTRIAXONE, DINOPROSTONE. Patient recovered.

Syntocinon side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Aug 19, 2002. Female patient, 33 years of age, was diagnosed with induced labour and was treated with Syntocinon. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: amniotic fluid embolus, bradycardia foetal, cyanosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation, foetal distress syndrome, hysterectomy , loss of consciousness, overdose, respiratory distress. Syntocinon dosage: 0.5 ML, QN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/20/2000.
